Cutting Through the Past, 1992-93
Since the end of the 1960s Rebecca Horn has produced art that tests the limits of traditional forms and tends to involve both the artist and the viewer directly in the creative process.
Horn’s art revolves around performances, installations, and films. Machines and mechanization are essential components of her work, re-creating an unsettling parallel world where obsession, desire, and power are the nameless protagonists.
