ADMISSION
Regular admission: euro 6.50
Reductions for children aged 11-14, senior citizens, teachers, students, the
disabled, military personnel, cultural associations and other organizations.
Free admission to children under 11.
ACCESS FOR THE DISABLED
All rooms in the Museum are easily accessible to the disabled. For information
contact the personnel at the ticket office.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photographing and video taping of the permanent collection is allowed only
with authorization.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
The Education Department organizes workshops and other activities at the Museum
and in schools by appointment.
GROUPS
Please make group reservations one week before visit.
FREE GUIDED TOURS
Free guided tours to the exhibition take place on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. and
6 p.m.; Sundays and holidays, at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tours covering
the history and architecture of the Castello di Rivoli are held on Sundays
at 4:30 p.m.
LIBRARY AND VIDEO
ARCHIVE
Are open to the public by appointment from Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
THEATRE
Situated inside the Museum, with seating for 90 people, the theatre is used
for courses, conferences and film and video screenings. It is also available
upon request for concerts, conventions and performances.
CONFERENCE HALL
It is located on the second floor of the Manica Lunga and has a seating capacity
of 150. It is available for lectures, conferences, meetings, video and film
screenings. It is equipped with the most sophisticated technology, including
facilities for videoconferencing via satellite and ISDN lines. It is also
furnished with an interpreters' booth and is hard-wired for audio/video hook-ups
with the theater.
