{"id":100384,"date":"2011-12-02T15:53:30","date_gmt":"2011-12-02T14:53:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.castellodirivoli.org\/internship\/"},"modified":"2011-12-02T15:53:30","modified_gmt":"2011-12-02T14:53:30","slug":"internship","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.castellodirivoli.org\/en\/internship\/","title":{"rendered":"Internship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><b><\/b>The Castello di Rivoli offers university-level students the opportunity to intern in the Curatorial Department, Education Department, and Library.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates interested in interning at the Museum may send their applications, along with their resume, to the internship contact: Roberta Aghemo.<\/p>\n<p>Email <a href=\"mailto:r.aghemo@castellodirivoli.org\">r.aghemo@castellodirivoli.org<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0 T +39 011 9565270<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Curatorial Department<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>Internship attendance<\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Castello di Rivoli offers internships for a minimum of two months, during the following hours: 9\u201313, 14\u201318, Monday to Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Students participating in the Curatorial Department internship are supervised by the Museum\u2019s Head Curator or a Curator, in the following activities supporting the Curatorial Department:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Research on artists and works from the permanent collection;<\/p>\n<p>Research on upcoming temporary exhibitions and catalogs in production;<\/p>\n<p>Research on the Museum\u2019s archive;<\/p>\n<p>Assistance in publishing brochures and educational\/informative material on exhibitions;<\/p>\n<p>Desk work, including archiving and documenting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i>Requirements <\/i><\/p>\n<p>Internships are aimed at university-level students majoring in Art History or students attending a Master\u2019s\/specialization course in Curatorial Studies. Good speaking and writing skills, excellent knowledge (written and spoken) of at least one foreign language, and organizational abilities are all preferable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><b>Education Department<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>Internship attendance<\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Castello di Rivoli offers internships for a minimum of two months, during the following hours: 9\u201313, 14\u201318, Monday to Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Students participating in the Education Department internship are supervised, in the following activities:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Support on all activities of the Education Department, including desk work and documenting;<\/p>\n<p>Historical and contemporary research on artists from the permanent collection and upcoming temporary exhibitions;<\/p>\n<p>Support for workshop activities.<\/p>\n<p><i>Requirements<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Internships are aimed at university-level students majoring in Art History, or students attending a Master\u2019s\/specialization course in Art, a Diploma course in Art or Psychopedagogy. Good communication, as well as technical\/organizational skills and knowledge of at least one foreign language, are all preferable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Castello di Rivoli Museo d\u2019Arte Contemporanea Library<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>Internship attendance<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The Castello di Rivoli offers internships for a minimum of two months, during the following hours: 9\u201313:30, 14\u201317, Monday to Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Students participating in the Library internship are supervised, in the following activities:<\/p>\n<p>Support on management, reference services, inventory and reorder of Library\u2019s bibliographical material;<\/p>\n<p>SBN Web cataloging;<\/p>\n<p>Support on publication loans with other museums and galleries;<\/p>\n<p>Cataloging new Library acquisitions.<\/p>\n<p><i>Requirements<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Internships are aimed at university-level students majoring in Cultural Heritage.
