Following a degree in Art History and Criticism at\u00a0the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy at Universit\u00e0 di Torino, Beccaria completed an MA in Art History and Museum Studies at the\u00a0Graduate School of Arts and Science, Boston University, Boston. Beccaria\u00a0started her museum curatorial work\u00a0in the United States\u00a0at the\u00a0Museum of Fine Arts Boston\u00a0and she later worked at\u00a0The Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston.\u00a0At Castello\u00a0she developed and valorized\u00a0the permanent collection and she organized numerous exhibitions including\u00a0<em>Claes Oldenburg Coosje van Bruggen<\/em>\u00a0(2006),\u00a0<em>Una stanza tutta per s\u00e9<\/em>\u00a0(2008),\u00a0<em>Vito Acconci<\/em>\u00a0(2010),\u00a0<em>La storia che non ho vissuto (testimone indiretto)<\/em>\u00a0(2012),\u00a0<em>Marinella Senatore<\/em>\u00a0(2013-14),\u00a0<em>Jan Dibbets<\/em>\u00a0(2014),\u00a0<em>Gilberto Zorio<\/em>\u00a0(2017),\u00a0<em>Nalini Malani<\/em>\u00a0(2018).\u00a0Additional co-curated exhibitions include\u00a0<em>L\u2019emozione dei colori nell\u2019arte<\/em>\u00a0(2017) and the monographs on\u00a0<em>Giovanni Anselmo<\/em>\u00a0(2016) and\u00a0<em>Wael Shawky<\/em>\u00a0(2016). Beccaria authored many catalogs, for example the first monographs about Roberto Cuoghi, Yang Fudong, Francesco Vezzoli, and she edited several books about Castello&#8217;s collections. As a writer,\u00a0she also collaborated with magazines such as\u00a0\u201cParkett\u201d and \u201cFlash Art\u201d, and she published with museum institutions including\u00a0La Biennale di Venezia, Venezia; Guggenheim Museum, New York; Museu Serralves, Porto; Stedelijk Museum, Ghent; Istanbul Biennial; Kunstmuseum Winterthur; FRAC Champagne-Ardenne, Reims; SAM-Singapore Art Museum, Singapore. She also authored\u00a0<em>Olafur Eliasson<\/em>,\u00a0the monograph published by\u00a0Tate, London.
