Anri Sala (Tirana, 1974) uses film and video, music, sculpture,<\/p>\n

photographs and drawings to create installations that<\/p>\n

explore the cracks, gaps, overlaps, and echoes through<\/p>\n

which reality unfolds in time and events acquire meaning.<\/p>\n

In architectural space he modulates visual, sonic and tactile<\/p>\n

elements and thereby generates new interpretations of<\/p>\n

reality. Music constitutes an integral part of his art and is one<\/p>\n

of the features shared by his most recent works.<\/p>\n

This catalog develops an in-depth examination of AS YOU GO<\/i>,<\/p>\n

the project devised by Sala specifically for Castello di Rivoli<\/p>\n

Museo d\u2019Arte Contemporanea in the form of an exhibition that<\/p>\n

also constitutes a single new work, extended over time and<\/p>\n

in the exhibition space, and capable of involving the viewer in<\/p>\n

an unprecedented perceptual experience.<\/p>\n
