{"id":138904,"date":"2024-02-27T18:11:05","date_gmt":"2024-02-27T17:11:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.castellodirivoli.org\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=138904"},"modified":"2025-11-24T15:05:44","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T14:05:44","slug":"walk-with-michele-lonati","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.castellodirivoli.org\/en\/evento\/walk-with-michele-lonati\/","title":{"rendered":"Walk with Michele Lonati"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Walk with Michele Lonati<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sunday 10 March, h. 15<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at Orti Generali<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the first event of <em>Vibrant Natures<\/em> at Orti Generali, botanist Michele Lonati will lead us on a walk to reflect on some of the central themes of the project\u2014particularly the concepts of hybridization, toxicity, and rebirth\u2014engaging with the ecosystems and biodiversity we will encounter in the area where Orti Generali is located.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Combining on-site exploration with theoretical contextualization, Lonati will reflect on forms of coexistence, stratification, and alliance among species, focusing particularly on phytosociology \u2013 how species &#8216;socialize&#8217; with each other to form a plant community, establishing a profound bond of interdependence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Michele<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lonati is a professor at the University of Turin, where he coordinates the research group in Grassland Ecology and Management. He conducts research on topics related to conservation of rare endangered species and habitats, biodiversity management and conservation, containment of invasive exotic species, grassland management and phytosociology.
