Castello di Rivoli Museo d\u2019Arte Contemporanea presents \u201cTimothy Morton – HELL\u201d<\/p>\n

Timothy Morton, philosopher and author of the book \u201cHell: In Search of a Christian Ecology\u201d will be in conversation with Gianluca Didino (@gdidino<\/a> ), writer and cultural journalist. The conversation will be introduced by Marianna Vecellio, \u00a0curator of the museum.<\/p>\n

Morton fosters the assumption that there is an unexpected but profound relationship between religion and ecology that can guide a planetary-scale response to the climate crisis. Spiritual and mystical feelings have a profound resonance with ecological thinking and together provide the resources environmentalism desperately needs in this time of climate emergency. Invoking a global
\nmovement that blends ecology and mysticism, \u201cHell: In Search of a Christian Ecology\u201d takes readers on a journey into the contemporary underworld and offers a surprising vision of salvation.<\/p>\n

The book will be published in Italian in 2025 by Timeo, Palermo, with the title \u201cInferno. William Blake e la ricerca di un\u2019ecologia cristiana\u201d.<\/p>\n

The conversation will be in English, and will take place online, broadcasting live on
\nCastello di Rivoli\u2019s\u00a0 \u00a0Youtube channel\u00a0<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event is part of the exhibition \u201cMutual Aid \u2013 Art in collaboration with nature\u201d on view at Castello di Rivoli, and \u201cVibrant Natures. On Telluric Cosmologies\u201d, a project curated by Guido Santandrea e Marianna Vecellio , realized in collaboration between Almanac , Castello di Rivoli Museo d\u2019Arte Contemporanea and Orti Generali.<\/p>\n
